What are you doing this weekend? Sure, it’s a little grey out there and a good football game on the TV seems to be calling your name, but there’s a lot more in town to do than that.
The Hanover Community Players have their first weekend of performances of “Steel Magnolias” Saturday and Sunday. They perform Thursday through Saturday next week. We will be going soon and have heard great things about the show. Tickets are just $11, and there isn’t a bad seat in the house.
If that’s not your deal or if you are going to a show other than the Sunday matinee, you can head over to the Eichelberger Performing Arts Center for a 3 p.m. conservatory concert by the Codorus Brass Quintet. That’s just $15 a ticket.
There’s also the anniversary celebration at the Potomac Bead Company downtown, the ongoing shoe sale at Clark’s and who knows what else.
But there’s nothing to do in Hanover, right?
