Warehouse Beer Coming Soon
Luckily, I signed up for e-mail updates from the Warehouse Gourmet recently. That meant I got the good news first and can spread it here – the brewery part of the Philadelphia Street business is really, really close.
Keith Stambaugh announced in his most recent update that the LCB will inspect the brewing equipment on Tuesday. Once that happens, the brewing process can start, and we’ll be just a few weeks away from having Hanover’s first brewpub. According to the newsletter, the first beers will take three weeks to brew and the work needed on the brewpub dining area – which will seat 25 people with room on the deck as well, according to the newsletter – will hopefully wrap up in a month.
It’s not out of the realm of possibility to be enjoying a Hanover-made brew in a Hanover establishment around Labor Day. That sounds good to me. I can’t wait for the Passive Aggressive Pale Ale – that’s all my favorite things wrapped up into four words.
